Horsley Woodhouse Primary School

Embark Award

The Embark Award is part of our commitment as a trust to the wider offer for our children.

It comprises of 100 activities for children to complete around our 4 core beliefs of Family, Integrity, Teamwork and Success.

These activities encourage family learning at home and we would love you to get fully involved however, there are also a number of activities that the children can experience in school too.  I hope you agree that they are fabulous activities/experiences and they are one that we feel all children should have the opportunity to complete before they leave the primary phase of their education at 11.

Children will work towards their Bronze Award - 40 activities, Silver Award - 60 Activities and then finally the Gold Award - 90 Activities.

It would be amazing if you could post on social media when you are doing activities together as a family for the Embark Award so we can see these and show you our support.  Please use the hashtag #EmbarkAward and tag us in on Twitter @embarkfed  or on Instagram - embarkfederation.

We aim to host an Embark Awards evening in the future and I would love to see you there.

Yours sincerely,

Matthew Crawford
