Welcome to Class 2!
Class 2 is the place to be for endless fun and super learning! The Year 2 children in Class 2 are always ready for a challenge and we thoroughly enjoy our learning with Ms Digby, Miss Varney and Mrs Beharall. Our colourful classroom is home to lots of developing skills as we ready ourselves for life as KS2 children. We develop our English skills through lots of lovely stories and writing, and we are masters of maths exploration!
Our topic of “What a Wonderful World” has included Geography work all about the continents and oceans, and also a Science Focus on Animals and their Habitats.
We have learnt where the hot and cold areas of the world are and investigated which animals live there and how they have adapted to their environment.
We had a day in Forest School exploring the different habitats there and even went pond dipping! In English we read The Storm Whale and created our own versions of this wonderful story.
We had great fun making our top secret Mother’s Day cards – we hope you loved them!
